THE STUPID FROG
Once upon a day, there was an ox was feeding near a pond in a meadow. He almost put his foot on a company of little frogs. This frightened, them nearly to death.
One of the little frogs hopped home to his mother "we were sitting near the pond in the little meadow" he told her "when a big ox came along. He was big. he almost stepped on us".
The mother frog said. "how big was he?was he as big as I am?
The litle frog replied, "much bigger!" Then the old frog puffed herself out and asked "was the beast as big as this?".
Very much larger, "said the little frog. The foolish old frog tried again to make herselfas big as the ox. She tried so hard that this time she burst.
Dear reader, from this story I can take a lesson : we should never permit our vanity to lead us to destruction.
